Sandy Farac is a holistic clinical psychotherapist, coach, facilitator, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner with a speciality in trauma therapy and relationships.
She is the Centre Director at The Trauma & Well-Being Centre which educates, informs and inspires people to metabolise trauma so that together we can create a meaningful, vibrant, connected and thriving community.
Her professional development and training encompass holistic counselling and psychotherapy, recovery & emotional mastery coaching, shamanic training, women circle teacher training (WCTT) and Somatic Experiencing (SEP). In the realm of holistic psychotherapy and counselling, Sandy excels, particularly when addressing trauma and relationship issues. By combining various therapeutic techniques and her deep understanding of the mind-body-soul-spirit nexus, Sandy assists individuals in managing difficult life changes, processing past traumas (with a somatic approach) and nurturing a sense of harmony and connectedness in their lives.
“Sandy is an extremely astute, kind and wise facilitator and counsellor who has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth. Her ability to pick up on what I was not saying, identifying my emotions or needs is uncanny. Work with her if you want to learn how to come back to your centre and ground yourself through any challenge. She was fantastic and taught me the tools and frameworks to truly take responsibility for my needs and emotions at work and at home. She will change your life for the better.”

Are you experiencing pain?
Are you ready to shift that pain?
Sandy works with people’s body symptoms and loves helping them find freedom through their pain.
Her blended approach mixes the post-Jungian therapeutic paradigm of Process-Oriented Psychology aka Process Work with the type of medical intuitive work championed by Caroline Myss and Dr Normal Shealy. Her unique way of working has helped many people with acute and intermittent pain experience a pain-free state.
She works with chronic and physical pain including disturbing body symptoms. Chest pain, back pain, knee pain, headaches and nausea are some of the symptoms she has cleared during her sessions.

“A terrifying symptom is usually your greatest dream trying to come true.”
— Arnold Mindell
“Most people polarise themselves from their pain and see their pain as separate from their sense of self. I have come to understand that body symptoms are not just the source of suffering, but are also a mysterious doorway into the unknown parts of yourself. When you learn how to move through that doorway and interpret the information behind your symptoms, those symptoms tend to disappear. Nothing happens for no reason, body symptoms become signals and it is understanding those signals that they disappear.”
